 PROFESSIONAL MALPRACTICE
The litigation section represents physician groups, doctors, attorneys, and accountants in complex professional liability cases in review board settings, mediations, as well as federal and state courts.
We also have asserted medical malpractice claims on behalf of injured patients. These cases involved claims for failure to diagnose, misdiagnosis, surgical procedures, post-operative complications, and medication errors. Recently, Kyle Schonekas and Joelle F. Evans settled a medical malpractice claim for slightly less than the $500,000 statutory cap in Louisiana on medical malpractice claims.
